In 2006 InterServ provided 29,042 people

with a total of 294,360 units of service

23,949 days of care were provided at our two Preschool and Childcare Centers.

35,948 days of recreation, weightlifting, tutoring and youth programming provided at Southside Youth.

1,713 youth participated in our Summer Jam Basketball and Summer Spike Volleyball leagues.

11,370 hours of assistance in the areas of counseling, budget management, aging counseling, case management, immigration services, and caregiver support were provided.

1,616 nights of shelter to101 homeless men during the three months of operation for the Cold Weather Shelter.

5,498 family Food Orders were provided to feed 14,506 hungry people in our community.

6,157 people were helped with free clothing and donated household items.

$92,459 of direct financial assistance was provided to those in need.

24,973 meals were served at our two Senior Neighborhood Centers and 80,014 meals were delivered by volunteer drivers in the Mobile Meals Program for a total of 104,987 meals provided.

49,048 hours of volunteer service were provided throughout the community by RSVP (Retired and Senior Volunteer Program).

TCE volunteers prepared 2,211 Federal and State tax returns for elderly and low income persons for refunds totaling $684,108. Volunteers also assisted 709 persons with information and enrollment to the Medicare Part D Prescription Drug Program.

54,691 hours of Homemaker services were provided to frail elderly people who would otherwise have to be placed into nursing homes.
