In 2007 InterServ provided 17,952 people

with a total of 289,435 units of service

22,959 days of care were provided at our two Preschool and Childcare Centers.

25,160 days of recreation, weightlifting, tutoring and youth programming provided at Southside Youth.

1,650 youth participated in our Summer Jam Basketball and Summer Spike Volleyball leagues.

7,009 hours of assistance in the areas of counseling, budget management, aging counseling, case management, immigration services, and caregiver support were provided.

6,287 Family Food Orders were provided to feed 5,075 people with 18,861 days of food provided.

5,708 visits for free clothing and donated household items from our clothing store.

$105,981 of direct financial assistance was provided to those in need.

28,980 meals were served at our two Senior Neighborhood Centers and 76,582 meals were delivered by volunteer drivers in the Mobile Meals Program for a total of 105,562 meals provided.

55,735 hours of volunteer service were provided throughout the community by RSVP (Retired and Senior Volunteer Program). Other volunteers provided 6,132 hours of service.

TCE volunteers prepared 1,812 Federal and State tax returns for elderly and low income persons for $1,001,751 in refunds. $158,786 in Earned Income Tax Credits were refunded. Volunteers assisted 586 persons with information and enrollment to the Medicare Part D Prescription Drug Program.

2,920 trips were provided to seniors and volunteers by InterServ vans.

49,800 hours of Homemaker services were provided to frail elderly people who would otherwise have to be placed into nursing homes.
