22,330 days of care were provided at our two Preschool and Childcare Centers.
13,946 days of recreation, weightlifting, tutoring and youth programming
provided at Southside Youth.
1,253 youth participated in our Summer Jam Basketball and Summer Spike
Volleyball leagues.
476 people received assistance in the areas of counseling, budget management,
aging counseling, case management, immigration services, and caregiver support
totaling 2,201 units of service.
5,855 Family Food Orders were provided to feed 5,259 people with 17,656 days of
food provided.
6,170 visits for free clothing and donated household items from our clothing
store.
$73,417 of direct financial assistance was provided to those in need.
23,756 meals were served at our two Senior Neighborhood Centers and 79,489 meals
were delivered by volunteer drivers in the Mobile Meals Program for a total of
103,245 meals provided.
40,934 hours of volunteer service were provided throughout the community by RSVP
(Retired and Senior Volunteer Program). Other volunteers provided 5,139 hours of
service.
TCE volunteers prepared 2,548 Federal and State tax returns for elderly and low
income persons for $1,318,465 in refunds. $180,402 in Earned Income Tax Credits
were refunded. Volunteers assisted 359 persons with information and enrollment
in the Medicare Part D Prescription Drug Program.
2,610 trips were provided to seniors and volunteers by InterServ vans.
46,704 hours of Homemaker and Consumer Directed Services helped frail elderly
people remain living in their own homes rather than being placed into nursing
homes.
169 elderly persons received vital health support provided through flu shots,
nutritional supplements, Medical Telemonitoring, Lifeline or Vial of Life
services.
