Using the skill, energy, and creativity of retired persons to ensure that
community needs are addressed while the life of the volunteer is enriched.
RSVP helps keep persons age 55 and over active and involved in the community.
RSVP volunteers partcipate in activities that meet the needs of individuals and
local nonprofit agencies and organizations. When volunteers share their life
experience, the whole community benefits.
Each year, senior volunteers provide more than 90,000 hours of community service
in the greater St. Joseph area–making our community a better place to live.
If you would like to be a part of the action, there are many areas where your
lifetime of experience, talents and time can make a real difference.
RSVP is part of the Corporation for National Service, a nationwide program,
directed locally through InterServ.
Membership is free.
